REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions for the web – desktop, mobile and apps.
• Experience designing interfaces beyond simple brochure sites
• Analyze and understand business and application requirements, prioritize and identify user tasks and goals
• Develop a wide range of deliverables based on project needs, such as: key insights documentation, affinity diagrams, user personas, research plans, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design concepts
• Proficiency with a variety of design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, OmniGraffle, Visio or equivalent
• Work effectively within technical, creative, and budgetary constraints
• Adapt to a wide range of project types and timeframes
• Quickly and efficiently identify and prioritize requirements across multiple projects
• Think critically and creatively while maintaining close attention to detail
• Possess a high aptitude for learning
• Possess a natural inclination towards user experience and general usability, ensuring quality accordingly
• Communicate clearly and concisely through both written and verbal means

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s degree in relevant field or 2+ years experience as a front end developer, information architect, interaction designer or related role

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in PHP 5 and object-oriented patterns
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, CSV
• Experience with JavaScript and/or JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery)
• Basic knowledge of GNU/Linux and Apache web server
• Familiar with databases and SQL syntax, such as MySQL
• Familiar with Zend Framework or similar MVC frameworks

• Familiar with character encoding and how this applies to storing, retrieving, and displaying data

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or) 4 years web development experience
